Our social group is dedicated to helping individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) build essential social skills in a safe, supportive, and accepting environment. We focus on fostering growth in communication, emotional regulation, coping strategies, and independence—all through fun and engaging activities.
Our ongoing social groups meet once a week throughout the year, offering a consistent opportunity for growth and connection. Each group consists of 2-6 participants, carefully divided by age and skill set to ensure a comfortable and supportive environment. Within these groups, participants engage in fun games and activities designed to develop a range of general social skills, such as reciprocal conversation, social interaction, reading social cues, and problem-solving. These sessions provide a welcoming space for meaningful peer interactions and personal growth. Every group is supervised by at least one Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), ensuring a safe and effective learning environment that fosters positive social development.
Our special focus social groups are designed around specific topics and themes, such as peer pressure, handling bullying, executive functioning skills, and perspective-taking. Each program runs over a span of 6 weeks, with a new subtopic discussed every week to dive deeper into the main theme. Participants will learn through engaging discussions and activities that make these important social skills fun and accessible. To support continued learning and meaningful social interactions outside of group sessions, parents will receive handouts with activities to practice at home.
